Pain levels vary depending on the individual's pain tolerance, tattoo placement, and size. Areas with thin skin over bone (ribs, spine, ankles) tend to be more painful, while fleshier areas (outer arms, thighs) are generally less painful. Most clients describe the sensation as uncomfortable but manageable, similar to a constant scratching or burning sensation. Our artists work to make the process as comfortable as possible.

Basic aftercare instructions include: Keep the bandage on for the time recommended by your artist (typically 2-24 hours). Wash the tattoo gently with mild, fragrance-free soap and lukewarm water 2-3 times daily. Apply a thin layer of the recommended aftercare product after washing. Avoid soaking the tattoo, direct sun exposure, tight clothing, and swimming for at least 2 weeks. Don't pick or scratch at scabs or peeling skin. We provide detailed written aftercare instructions after your session.
